I counted the steps it took to walk from my apartment, room 445 and the delicious panya bakery to the ITP videolab, at which I spend more time than at home… well, anyway, the numbers are 975, 38 and 564. Assuming that each step equals to one frame, I made short clips of three runners with 975, 38 and 564 frames, which means they are 32 seconds, 19 seconds and 1.2 seconds in length. And then in finalcut I stretched the speed of the three to 15 seconds. So even you don’t know where my apartment, room445 and panya bakery are, you get a rough idea how far they are from the videolab compare to each other by the vary moving pace of the three runners.
